National Living Wage and Minimum Wage Increases

From April 2026, the National Living Wage will increase by 4.1%, and the National Minimum Wage will go up by 8.5% for 18-20-year-olds and 6% for 16 and 17-year-olds.

The hourly rate for each will be:

  • National Living Wage: £12.71
  • National Minimum Wage for 18-20-year-olds: £10.85
  • National Minimum Wage for 16 and 17-year-olds: £8.00

Employees must be aged 21 and over to get the National Living Wage.
