Quality assurance and technical knowledge means more local jobs

We are delighted to announe that Wellden Turnbull has taken on seven new team members to help the Cobham area become a centre of excellence for professional services.

We now employ 34 people and our recent recruitment drive has been focused on improving and expanding our already wide range of services as well as ensuring local businesses have access to the prompt, highly technical expertise needed to deal with recent changes in legislation.

Simon Spevack, Partner, said
“The practice has been built on the basis of our service and technical standards, which has allowed us to deal with more complex and technical matters. As ever though we are very conscious that simply maintaining a quality of service is not enough, indeed research by the BERR, previously the DTI, shows that over two thirds of consumers expect a better standard of service now than they received a year ago.”

He added:
“Recruitment is not always driven by expansion in the size of a firm. For us it is the depth in knowledge and services that has driven matters. We’ve been through a careful planning and assessment process and re-structuring and upgrading the team is the right thing for us and our clients.”

The firm has further improved its tax department with David Andrews replacing a recent leaver, and the addition of Nick Warren to train in the tax department. The audit capacity has been strengthened with new audit manager, Zara Field coming on board together with Tanya Lehnberg and Bahanu Kirubakaran. Jenny Austin, Julie Bulter and Lucie Jones have joined our outsourcing department.

The firm is not actively recruiting at the moment but when they are, vacancies can be found on this website. We also welcome speculative CV’s.
